
The stone foundations of the unfortified Rome’s settlement are in quite good condition. There is near by 30 santimeters from the surface, despite to the strong economic activities over the agricultural terrain. Over them have been sun-dried brick walls and wood construction. There was found unique, never known before bronze figure of mallard and one, silver fibula which is the fifth pubished at the Bulgarian chronicles.
Over the 70th finds are arguing for two barbarous conflagrations.
” The habitation has been started near by the first half of ІІ century and probably at the second half of the same ІІ century has been damaged, which theory is certificated by the many finds of coins from the Mark Aurelius era, strong burned ” was told from doctor Sergei Torbatov- archaelogist at National Archaelogic institute toward to the Bulgaian Academy of Sciences.
The mateials are manifesting that this area has been inhabited by well-to-do humans and soldiers, discharged from the Rome’s army. The archaelogists have found overwhelming variety of titulars of bronze and silver Rome’s coins. Most of them are from the third centurym from the era of the Severs’s dynasty. The historians are propossing that this ancient Rome’s polis has been situated at large area of near by 500 decares and the whole area exploring may cost few years.
