
Amulets of Byzantine coins are being manufactured during the 10th century at Preslav.
The esteemed discovery for the Bulgarian Middle age history was done by the archaeologists professor Kazimir Popkonstantinov who’s working at the monastery complex of the palace in the Middle age capital of Bulgaria.
The unique find was done near one of the walls at the monastery complex. Instead of pagan images, the old Bulgarian citizens have been into a search for deiform characters.

Three clay made idols were found just at the first day of the excavation works at Perperikon. These finds are some of the very first objects for the season 2008 at the ancient sanctuary between Haskovo and Kardjali. Those items were found during the cleaning process of the working areas.

Two of the clay figures have human shape, the third one has shape of bull. Those idols are used from the ancient citizens as gifts at the sanctuaries on Perperikon.
Professor Nikolay Ovcharov has told front of the Bulgarian National Radio that these figures confirms once again the relation between the ancient Thracian town and the Minoan culture.

Two seals of Tzar Peter and Georgi Sinkela are some of the latest finds of the archaeologic expedition that is continuing at the southern part of the cult old Bulgarian kingdom Veliki Preslav.
Among the rare finds are bunch of coins, there are three premises already explored at the ancient city.
” Those seals that were found are confirmation of the thesis that the monastery is the one of Georgi Sinkela, who has been secretary of the Patriarch and one of the most important men at the kingdom, after the tzar.

Unique 19 sm. bronze dagger, decorated with flutings was found yesterday during the continuing excavation works near Dubene village, Karlovo municipality.
The studies with team leader Martin Hristov are concentrated into small stone structures, the bronze dagger was found at one of them, along with four ceramic vessels, a coup, few glasses and small pitcher-all rich decorated with ornaments.
These finds were dated to the end of early bronze epoch- III millenia BC
The absence of any bones is significant fact that remark for rituality that is new for the scientists and supports for investigating the culture of these tribes, that were inhabitants of Thrace during the bronze epoch.

Situated 3 kilometers South Western to the Bulgarian- Turkey boarder line at Malko Turnovo, this tomb is placed up on a hill with about 40 more tumulus hills. The explored complex of four different types of tombs is being “city of the deceased” during the Hellenic and Roman epoch. At the constructed by marble blocks tombs were found coins, which confirms for the existence of the “Haronovic obol”- tradition and ritual of paying the transmission of the dead threw the underground river Sticks. Little bronze coin (obol) has been placed under the tongue of the buried for paying to Haron- the ferry driver at the underground kingdom. The archeologists dated as last period of dwelling IV century AC.

Stone made lamp was found during excavation works at the stronghold Trimamium, Rouse municipality. The team, Vurbin Vurbanov and Deyan Dragoev are working at the area of than bigancient building, which is the colonade. The archaeologists have found also umbo - the middle part of shield, made by bronze, bronze balance, trade seals, many iron objects, announce the director of the regional museum Nikolay Nenov. New moment at the study for the archeology materials is related to the religion - there was found part of consecrated slab stone as well as part of altar table, which has been part of the equipment at the basilica at Trimamium.
