2,5 km southern to Draganovez, at the Boaza area, as known as Manastiria is placed ancient Thracian sanctuary, basilica, late ancient and Middle Age settlement. It is archaeological complex, promulgated as monuments of the culture from regional importance, that consist few elements.
The Thracian sanctuary from II-IV century got shape of rectangle ( 15 x 19,5m). At first, this sanctuary has been composed by two premises, and subsequently one more subjoined. The foundations are made by stones and mire. At the embankment have been found 111 entire and fragmented pavements, devoted to Apollonius , who’s called with the epithet Aulosados, two pavements of Zevs, statuettes of the Thracian rider, ceramic and coins of Aurelian ( 270 year) , and Claudius Gothicus( 268 year). The sanctuary has been existing at the period II-IV century.
The Basilica has been built up on the foundations of the same sanctuary (20 x 18m.).She is with a nave and five aisles, naous and narthex.
The navicular basilica from V-VI century is the one and only ever found in Bulgaria.
The ceramic oven has been probably built for building needs and especially for the erection of the basilica.

At excavations of early Christiandom bishop basilica from 5-6 century at Sandanski, archaeologists has found water-supply outfit, build by granite tiles. According to the words by the regional museum director, Vladimir Petkov, it is interesting as building practice and such outfit has never been found in Bulgaria. The outfit was found indoor, at the bishop’s basilica, were the believers has been assembled before liturgy. That’s fountain, constructed by massive granite tiles, with four bronze spouts, tight with lead, explain the archaeologist Vladimir Petkov. The outfit is near by 6 meters tall and 40 centimeters deep. It is not certificated how this outfit has been provided with water. Probably it is proceeded with the force of interconnected vessels- equipment, well known ever since Effes, adds Petkov.
The scientists are believing that they will find new proofs for the early Christiandom object.
” We believe and we hope that one script will help us for the dating of the target and also for finding the ancient name of our town” says Petkov.

At small stronghold near Boroviza village were found from the archaeologists three churches one up above the others. At the lowest stratum is with a nave and two aisles Byzantium basilica from 4-6 century before Christ. Up on her basement there were built second one-big with a nave and two aisles church. At some later period, 13-14 century the same church has been destroyed and is replaced as single-hull, as the thoroughfares to the lateral parts are just build in. These three churches, accommodateа one at each other have been used for the period between 4th- 14th century.
