
This Thracian town from 5th century before Christ is located near Vasil Levsi village, Karlovo municipality. The object is situated on area of 25 decares. There are found relics of stronghold wall and many greek vessels, that is supposed that they have been used for import of wine from the Mediterranean countries. It is still unidentified the name of that local king.
The archaeologists are planning excavation of the citadel of the settlement, where have been the home of the possessor. There are excavations at the eastern area of the settlement, where probably is the King’s residency and the contiguous church building. These finds are unique, because it is for first time that there are found building from 3000 years, which is covered with roof-tiles, decorated as Grecian vessels. The excavations are realized by team from the Archaeological museum - Plovdiv with leader the director of the museum Kostadin Kisjov. The one and only problem with this object is that the exploring might be prevent by the fact that some of the near area is private property.
