
Situated 3 kilometers South Western to the Bulgarian- Turkey boarder line at Malko Turnovo, this tomb is placed up on a hill with about 40 more tumulus hills. The explored complex of four different types of tombs is being “city of the deceased” during the Hellenic and Roman epoch. At the constructed by marble blocks tombs were found coins, which confirms for the existence of the “Haronovic obol”- tradition and ritual of paying the transmission of the dead threw the underground river Sticks. Little bronze coin (obol) has been placed under the tongue of the buried for paying to Haron- the ferry driver at the underground kingdom. The archeologists dated as last period of dwelling IV century AC.

Thracian tomb with half-tubular vault arch was found by archaeologists at Zarevo municipality.
Director of the studies Daniela Agre announced that this is the first tumulus from this type that is found in Strandja mountain. “This is probably tomb of local possessor who ruled South-Eastern Thracia” adds Daniela Agre. The tumulus has been constructed by ductile limestone, unfortunately demolished by treasure-hunters. Part of the tomb is not affected, there were found amphoras, glue Thrace ceramic and walled grave of white limestone, was confirmed lately front of the BTA.

At the end of August, 2002 Archaeologists with team leader Krasimir Leshtakov discovered new terrain for excavation works at the area of Yabalkovo village, Dimitrovgrad municipality. The excavation team have found female ceramic figure of about 8000 years at fire demolished settlement from the early Neolith. At 2003 the excavation works at the object were restarted, there was found part of cooper slag, dated to the sixth millennium before Christ. We got profound information for the pit sanctuary dated to the early iron epoch at the Karabiuliuk area, near Yabalkovo village by Milena Tonkova and Rumen Mikov for the Archeology report of 2004. At the western sector of the excavated terrain they have been into a find with many many materials of the late iron epoch ( fragments of Greek Аmphora, black ceramic as well as some typical for the epoch vessels, made by wheel and hand made. At quarter 25, at the same western sector and depth of about 1 meter the excavation team have found collective find of bronze coins- four of them of Philip II Macedonian, three of Alexander the Great. They have been dеferred for around 323-320 before Christ. Near the end of IV Before Christ is the near period of the earlypostumne alexandricia with king title, that is found at the quarter H 22 at depth 0.55 meters.
At the central sector ( that front upped part of the object - tumulus Karabiuliuk ) are at pawn two drillings with dimensions 5 x 2 meters. At the first one that working team has found vessels by the lately iron epoch and destructions of Neolith building.

Tumulus of Thracian nobleman, from 25 centuries ago and 73 unique presents, where 20 of the objects are made by cleanly gold- head of deer, necklace,chaplet and ritual glass for wine..
That unique Thracian tomb, full with objects from clean gold were found near the hill “Goliamata kosmatka” near Shipka from the archaeological team of doctor Georgi Kitov. That’s the same team,who has found the golden mask and that made by bronze head at tumulus of Thracian possessor into this sepulcher. The corridor to the camera is long 13 meters, and the inwardly premises are divided with marble door with beautiful decoration, depicting female head, probably divinity.

The “Ostrusha” tumulus is situated between Krun village and Shipka town, near by 200 meters left sode from the way. By the archaeologists this tumulus has been built 480 years before Christ. Any funeral is missing here. The main camera has monolithic boulder and lid (roof), there is door at the southern side. The tumulus is placed right at the place of an old sanctuary. The ceiling is carved with cimetric rectangles and sides, parallel to the sides of the ceiling. At the center there are placed two squares, where he walls of the inside placed one are turned threw the outside one to 90 degrees.Inside this one is signed ring. It is plastic workmanship.The outstanding wall,built at the east west direction are cultivated in precious way, probably consistent with the main purpose of this tumulus. The existing of this treatment is dazzling example for activity, totally unnecessary for the her aims as funeral camera only, because immediately after the tegument with soil become pointless. This one is the first and only one found ever ceiling with carvings among the Thracian finds.
